About the Artist

Annie knew from a very young age that stories were her passion, and she began early drawing and painting to uncover the plots.  She describes herself as a fable artist, “one who uncovers the story line by means of artistic endeavor.”  Throughout her life, she has developed this art form by expanding her creative horizons, to include oils, watercolors, pastels, and mixed media.

 

Since retirement, Annie has had the time to explore her ever-increasing repertoire, and has found much interest in her pieces by viewers wishing to own one of her creations.  She resides in the quaint, artistic village of Black Mountain, NC, in the heart of the mountains.  She can be found most days in her studio, assisted by one of her five furry friends
